Rickenbacker Strings

Ok, I recently purchased a Rickenbacker 320 Burgundy-Glo 1981.
I put GHS Strings on it for the moment. The previous owner gave me a set of Rickenbacker strings, for short scale 12-54. How do you all fell about these strings? I did not want to put them on until I got some feedback. When I had owned Ricks before I used other types of strings. Any recommendations?
Thanks,
Karl

String brands other than Rickenbacker are fine. Just be sure to use the heavier (12 or 13 gauge) strings on the short scale 320 fpr proper intonation.

thomastik infeld flatwounds set would work fine - you can get them in same gauges as the original ric strings in individual strings from juststrings.com or
another option :

Rickenbacker also recommends the use of GHS Nickel Rockers.
