Missing Foot on 600 Series Case

My apologies if this has been covered previously, but I have been unable to find the link to any appropriate topic.

I have a standard 600 series Ric case, which is perfect in all regards except that one of the four circular metal feet is missing (lost by a previous owner). Obviously, there is a hole where the foot was once located, but I think it might be possible to repair the case if I could source a replacement metal foot and attachment, possibly by using a large washer to cover the hole.

Has anyone tried such a repair and/or do you have any ideas where I might find a replacement?

You can salvage one from an old trashed-out case. I've done that before. Ask around at several guitar shops to see if they have one.

Belated thanks to fabandgear and egosheep for your helpful responses, which I will now pursue.

On a somewhat related note, can anyone offer any pointers on reparing a cracked plastic case? I recently bought a used 620-6 (a wonderful guitar, BTW). The guitar is in great shape but the case is somewhat beat up, and is missing some chunks of plastic from the bottom and corner, as well as two of the metal feet. The largest missing plastic chunk is about 3/8" across and a few inches long. Can anyone recommend a better fix than my current solution (lots of duct tape)? I am assuming the plastic is ABS (is this correct?) and that I need some kind of ABS cement (my understanding is that ordinary epoxy will not bond properly with ABS plastic).
