Stewmac 6-way toggle switch

Looks pretty crazy! Might have some cool applications on a 3 pickup Ric. You could have 3 different series pickup combination's, for one.

Yeah, I saw the same thing (in the same place). Interesting. I'm thinking of adding a 3rd pickup to my 4004, thought this might be useful, but I haven't really studied it to decide if it'll do everything I want...

Yeah, I'm with Mike on that one.
It's more or less what I want for my 370 project which so far is only materialising in my head

you may have depth problems being the structure is 1" over all height,(could be even taller than that) but then you have to account for the terminals too and under guard mounting to floor depth. ricks dont have very deep cavities, especially older ones. ( those RIC push pull pots did not work in a '74 4001 i was modifying. too tall for the cavity without removing meat.)

ken... how deep are the guitar cavities ? i would assume they would be as deepas a 4001 if they were 1-1/4 thick bodies.
i do realize that RIC must be routering the bodies a little deeper than the old days to accept those new push/pull pots, but did not in the '74 4001 i was working on. at least the new 4003 cavities, at least around the pot , must be deeper to accept it. too bad the mounting is not standard as the regular pots, as it has a mini shaft...at least on the example i was supplied with.

You could build a house in both my 330 and 360/12. In fact, I have a TBX control pot on the neck tone of my 330, and that's a full size double ganged pot. My 4003 is much more shallow, but the factory vintage tone cap pot fits fine.
