Maurice Gibb - NOT With A 4001!

Post by rickosound »

Looks like a Jetglo 320... (You don't get a good look at it until 1:53 or so.)

Looks like an 82 JG B series 320 to me. R Tail piece and no blender knob.

Somewhere I have seen a image of him playing it... Yes here it is on my hard drive...

i remember his whiteglo 4001 getting pelted with coins from the audience at a show in moncton back in the mid '70's.

A forum member now owns that bass I think. There was a thread about celebrity RICS that had a picture of it...

an RM 1999 is owned by the forum member. i was talking about an early to mid '70's whiteglo/black trim 4001, unless a member here owns that too ??? should have a few dings in the finish from the coins. barry threatened to cancel the show !

Ronbo's correct here. The white with black trim that Maurice had from about '71 on would be the bass in question here, not my RM1999!

Nice looking guitar - one would have to modify it with mix control, though :D

Then it wouldn't be a B Series...
