I've been using the JB-1 ever since I got my Rick. I just don't plug in that guitar without it.

There simply is nothing like the sound of a Rick 12 through a Janglebox. I've auditioned every compressor available, and none of them even comes close to my Janglebox JB2. I bought the JB2 about a year ago, and it literally transformed the sound of my 330/12. The only thing better might be the new Janglebox Byrds pedal, which has a tone control for the Jangleboost channel. Steve Lasko has responded personally to all of my e-mails. His product is the "real thing" all of us folk-rock players have been waiting for!

I've got an "Original" JangleBox -- and its the real deal !! :)
Especially for Ric-12 string players ! I'm sure the JB2 and Byrds special are even ccooler.

What's the experience with 6-string guitars?

I'm tempted to get one, a 12ers on the wishlist anyway.

Is the Janglebox generally available or just in select places?

my info is that a 6-str. will sound awesome thru a jb. nobody claims that a 6-string will sound like a 12 string, though.

the jb distribution network is pretty limited.

'fession: i own 2 rics, 360/6 and 381/6 but my 12-str is a tele.

Thanks, Larry - maybe I'll just get me one of these asap then.

You got a Fender XII - the smurfheadstocked 12er?

Anyone experience with using it with a humbucking guitar like Craig asks?
Would be interesting to hear that on YouTube!

my 12-str is an american standard telecaster converted from 6 to 12 by a great fellow in texas. he does a lot of 6-to-12 conversions and really knows his stuff. i'll post a pic in a few minutes.

A converted tele? Yes, please post a picture - I'd like to know how the headstock issue was solved!

Edit: is it a totally custom neck, or a reworked neck & headstock?

I won't argue with any of that! I have an original Janglebox, kicks lotsa A$$ with whatever I do with it! Guitar, bass, vocals, you name it!
