Two basses I'd like to see

First off, RIC has produced these in the past I think, but not in recent memory.
The first is that I'd like to see an acoustic bass in the 700 series line. I would imagine that would be a boutique item and just add to Paul W's workload, but I was playing one the other day, a Dean in fact. It was all of $175 and actually very playable. I'd forgotten what nice tones you can get from one, and in lieu of the old tuna boats ever getting produced again, it's as near as you'll get these days. I suppose this isn't too far off an idea as Paul would probably make one if asked nicely. If there is a recent example of a RIC acoustic bass out there that I'm not aware of, it would be nice to see.
The second is I'd like to see an electric upright bass. I have seen an example of a RIC like one from the 40's I believe, but what I have in mind is more like the modern stick types. Again, we'll probably never see such a thing, but I'd sure like to get one if they were available. I've always been a fan of upright bass playing, but have never had the room or time to get a full scale bass.
