Drilled and put in place. It appears they will be below the TRC, I hope so because it is a B@#$% to get it out. Pull the tape, set her up and see what happens.

Let us know how it works out for you Ted. I was following your repairs on FB and it looks like you got the process mastered despite your trepidation at first. The socks were a great touch.

I haven't been on FB too often recently, so I missed this. Thanks for posting it here also, Ted! Looks like you are doing a fine job. Looking forward to the completion.

Thanks for the support! She is playing very well and I'm pretty happy, feels like silk. I still have a little relief and with further adjusting I'm by someone more experienced who knows? For right now life is good and everything seems Happy! What a Day!

The bar is easy to get out if you tap the rods into the neck.

Great work, Ted. You should be able to get the neck straight. Loosen the truss nuts, hold the body (clamp to table or set vertical on floor between your feet, pull the neck to where it needs to be, and tighten the truss nuts. It will stay where you put it. Probably forever. Or until you change to different tension strings or loosed the truss nuts.

Congrats on a job well done.

Thanks John. Jeff thanks, tapping the rods into the neck is exactly what ended up happening no other way it would have worked without hurting something. I will try adjusting the rods again, probably over the weekend, when I set it straight and tighten there seems to be a bit of spring back to relief, I wonder if I should go a little beyond towards back bow and see.
