i often wondered who owned the fireglo '64 4001s on pg. 164 of his "ultimate guitar book". looking in the back of the book credits, it was owned by dave brewis at least back to the 1991 publication date. anyone have an idea of the current owner, production record, serial # ? moocho greasy arse !

IIRC, I exchanged mail with Dave, and he told me that one went to Japan, some time after the book was published, via Craig Brody.

I always liked the connection of the owner and the serial having the same letters...
