Best place to purchase a 660/12?

I have decided on a new 660/12, but the market seems all over the place. Ebay has them as low as 1800, but a lot of the brick and mortar stores want close to 2500. What should I be looking to spend, and where are some great places to buy? I am particularly wanting a burst finish. thank you in advance.

Good luck with your search ... IMO there should be some dealers out there with a price less than $2500 ...

thanks for the welcome, and I've found a couple a 100 or 2 less, but I'm feeling the magic number is around 1800 give or take a couple.

Yep, I usually figure that around 60-70% of the list price is a pretty good deal.

I agree with the pricing. As I see it, the main variable is whether you want to buy new from a RIC dealer with warranty or whether you'll go pre-owned in nice condition.

Call Pick of the Ricks. Chris has a Midnite Blue 660/12 in stock, and possibly more.

went with christ at pick of the ricks, and he took great care of me. we must have talked for about 30mins to an hour haha. got a new midnight blue 660/12 coming in the near future. SO STOKED! ...now which strap to choose.

Start low! If the market is $1800 why pay more? Prices could go up or they could still go down. There is no shortage of Guitars to buy. There's another one comin' around the corner tomorrow or maybe even later today!

I actually took some pics but her midnight sheen was making the lighting rough. I will put some up tomorrow. I love her so much.
