I'm considering buying a T-100 style cabinet and trolley with an empty AC-100 style head cab from Northcoast music for use in my Beatle tribute band. My basses are a Hofner and a Rick 4003. If anyone is familiar with this set up could you recommend an amp head to power this cabinet. It has 2-15 inch speakers rated at 400 watts rms. I'm currently using a 150 watt Ampeg but it's borderline loud enough. Thanks

You're sounding like Bob Young!

I use mine (SVT-2 Pro) to warm the basement area we jam in.

North Coast Music shows an example of a setup like you're talking about. That guy used a Gallien Kreuger light weight Bass amp head. 500 watts if I remember.
