COOL! I had to break out a Rick and play along with that!
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!
Re: Fly By Nite - pre release.
I'm guessing the tag means it was a show at the Cleveland Agora, maybe one of their lunchtime concerts. I grew up in that area and WMMS was a huge backer of Rush. It was probably a good place to debut something new at the time.
After Paul McCartney, Geddy was the first artist that I remember specifically associating with the 4000 series. I was born in the late 60s. I know he plays that other one, but in the mid- to late-70s, in my eyes, Geddy = Rickenbacker Bass. In 7th grade, I was drop-jawwed awed by a 9th-grader, his Autumnglo and the fact he was playing stuff from 2112.
It's stuff like that sticks with ya. Makes you buy one, regardless how much later on it is, when you get a chance.
Thanks for sharing!

The Agora is still around, only in a different location, on Euclid near E 55th.
I've been to the old Agora a few times; the first time I saw Brand X was there in the late '70s. Now that I think of it, it was also the place I saw Flora Purim, Airto, Urszula Dudziak, Michal Urbaniak for the first time; the '70s was a great time to see bands there. When we saw Pat Metheny there we were sitting right in front of him, even watching his that well I could still never play like him.

I have a lot of bootleg Rush stuff. The Agora Ballroom (which they played often early) is very well recorded.
