I'm about to take the plunge and set up both my 660-6 and 330-12. Having never done this, i'm terrified, naturally, but both guitars seem to have an underbow. the 660 is 3/16ths of and inch higher at the first fret from the 12th, lying flat on a table. the 330-12 is a full 1/4 of an inch. I have constant tuning issues with the 660, and i'm thinking this apparent underbow is the issue. any help/advice would be appreciated

It is best to check and measure relief with the guitar in playing position, not laying down on a table as the weight of the headstock can change and influence the measurement.

The first thing you want to check into is tightening those truss rods a bit... That's a lot of bow! Wow!
