Liam Gallagher is back with a new band and a big nod or two to Mr Lennon. It is a little bit of a safety tune for the boy, but Gem has a NICE 21 fret 330/12, what do we reckon, a '67?
The Roller.

More than a nod, he's even wearing John's glasses. I've been hearing this one on satellite radio. At first I thought it was just cheeky, but they do such a nice job of it that I'm starting to dig it. Borderline Rutles?

I suspect this will be the best track from the album, my jury is still out as I'm more a Noel fan.

Also on a short documentary called "RAK Them Out" (now on youtube, it seems that it's gonna be an extra for the deluxe version of the CD) you can spot Gem with a 450 (I'm not sure!), 4001v63 (or an original RM 1999???) and the 330/12!

They are 4 good little clips. I won't link them because they contain a bit of profanity, but they are well worth a view.
In the dim light of a recording studio setting there is no more iconic a look than a white Rickenbacker TRC shining out. Love it, fantastic design and fantastic sound.

Thank you, I joined the RRF in 2009: I've become the proud owner of a 350V63 and a 4001C64 since then

If instant karma doesn't get them, the Flo & Eddie b/v's on 'Bring The Light' definitely will.

There was a 30 minute special on Channel 4 last night. "Live from Abbey Road".
I can take or leave the music, though Liams 'laddish' behaviour is now wearing very thin.
The high point of the program was when the camera panned over Gem's guitar rack. There must have been about 5 Rickenbacker guitars on there! Nice.
