Thanks so much for posting this! I've only known of Mary Osborne from the old Gretsch ads and it's wonderful to finally hear her. I can't believe how hip her playing was and man, that wonderful tone! When she does that overdrive on "I Love Paris" it just sends me into orbit!

There is a great MAry Osborne Gretsch ad in the article in VG; I can't seem to find it online anywhere , have you seen the VG article?

There are a couple of pix of Mary in Jay Scott's book, "Gretsch, The Guitars of the Fred Gretsch Company". One is an ad on page 41, the other a photo with her and Jimmy Webster, page 266. I remember her in the older Gretsch Guitar catalogs, along with Rusty Draper, Mundell Lowe, Harry Volpe, Burl Ives, and of course Chet Atkins.

Is this the ad you're thinking about?

No, I have seen that around. It is one with a full length shot of her sitting and sort of leaning back with the White Falcon from a bit of a distance; it almost has a Flamenco dancer/guitarist look to it.

I believe that pic might be on page 265 of Jays book.
