Try rehydration, not too much or you will have to shrink it again.

I'd go three times that for myself....

Although the dietary potential of reducer sounds promising, you might want to wait until I get the science down a little better - otherwise you could end up at about the right size for that P-bass.

HA! Not surprising in this day of technology getting smaller and smaller. Not always a good thing with guitars, though.
