Byrds in Mono?
Byrds in Mono?
We've seen The Beatles' entire mono catalog reissued, we've seen Bob Dylan's mono catalog, too, but we need to see some more artists in mono, notably The Byrds. Who thinks The Byrds albums early albums need to be on CD in mono?

Sounds good, Hoffman has a great reputation.
Jake, you may be able to find some good quality mono vinyl to lossless digital rips through "the usual channels". Nothing like the sound of the original issues.

Great Ramp In My Opinion.
Re: Byrds in Mono?
I was hoping Chris Bryan would have access to original Byrds mono albums...
Chris, got any Byrds classics in mono?

Re: Byrds in Mono?
I agree these need to be in mono, I like stereo but most recording before 1966 should have mono version, the Buffalo Springfield's 1st lp is a good example. I understand the record companies want to juice as much cash as possible but they should put both versions on one cd.

Best, Chris
