I had the privilege of meeting him several times and helping him with his sculpture work. Yes, he was a sculptor and did fine enamel work, among his many other talents. I still wear one of his bronze "Steal Your Face" belt buckles with great pride. Man, losing him is a real disruption in the space-time continuum ...
