..................of the Rising Sun.
This clip features studio ace Jerry McGee who replaced Nokie on lead. Anyone care to speculate on Jerry's best known studio lick? As you might guess from the thumb and finger picks, before joining the Ventures, he was best known as a "Tele Twanger".

Funny story:
I was on stage at a jam with some friends doing House of the Rising Sun. All of a sudden we look at each other as we're hearing a third guitar. Little did we know that our friend Keith, who was sitting in the audience, had decided to join in. He had his Strat & Vibrolux connected via a wireless system.

This video of my all time favorite guitar band inspired me to buy the CD a few weeks ago called The ventures Live in Japan '65. It's incredible from the first to the last of it's 29 tunes.

And it took 50 years from the date of their first record to get into the R & R Hall of Fame-shameful! And, Dick Dale will probably never be inducted!
