i hope that the subject line is selfexplanatory, i am having hard time with this. i exchanged email with dale on february 6th and have not been able to reach him from that date on. anybody knows anything about him?

I think he was planning a trip to SoCal for late Feb.

It is not unusual to have GREAT difficulty when trying to contact Mr. Fortune!!!!!

I know this from personal experience. He had a Rick bass of mine for a VERY long time.
I had a Devil of a time trying to reach him......but.....was able to eventually.

All I can say is.....Don't give up, keep trying!!!! You WILL get him.

He is a great person, and, he did a fantastic job on my 4003s8LH.

same problem, anybody had a word from dale? he is owing me two sets of truss rods for 4000 since january - he was unable to provide any tracking number or even customs label number for those he said he shipped out in january, so later he promised to ship out "replacements" and he vanished again on 18th of march. i am unable to get in touch with him anywhere including beat cavern etc...so being pretty upset about it - i don't know what to say beside that i am sorry that i sent him my money. this is so unlike any experience i ever had with purchase beside some funky people on ebay years ago... so i am wondering is the guy all right?
is he even still alive?

I know based on his posts on other venues that Dale had some health and also some other issues over the past year. I have not seen him on facebook or on BGC recently. As frustrating as this may be for you, the best advice is that you just keep trying to make contact with him.

He is not a member here, so I am not sure what more assistance we can give you.

I read that a guy named Dale fortune got arrested...I searched him. Was it him, I'm not sure?

Ivan that was the result of a dispute with a neighbor in September of last year IIRC and as I understand it the matter is before the courts. He has continued posting (although rather infrequently) over at the Beat Gear Cavern since that ordeal.

He cannot be found here.

Back in the olden days when Paul was born, having a baby cost about $50.00 so do the math to account for inflation over the years and you guessed it; he cost a lot of money in today's dollars.
