Should I sell a kidney and get this 4005?

Hi guys,
Not really, I can keep my kidney but I am really out of GAS money...
If you remember I was looking for a 4005 on my previous visit to the states, I wanted a mint/near mint one from the mid/late sixties preferably in fireglo and all original.
Here is a really nice example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0540881070
I might be able to offer a lower price, but even if I do I don't think it would be much below 9K which is more than I can actually spend at the moment.
I am facing this dilemma as I am building a new house, by buying this bass I will basically dig into my spare money (which is an extra money I am keeping aside for unexpected expenses after taking into consideration the most conservative building costs estimate I got from the people who will build it (that is - their highest estimate)).
I don't feel I need a 4005 at the moment and in fact - I don't even have a room for it in my current (very small) house!
My logic tells me to wait with it for at least a year until the house will be ready and then I'll know if it's "safe" to buy it.
My heart (and surprisingly enough - my wife!) tell me - get it, pricing only go up and you might not be able to see another 4005 in such a mint condition in the near future.
What do YOU say?
Thanks for letting me share.
