Too Many People

Okay, I searched and although that phrase turns up an innumerable amount of times, none addressed my question. What guitar did Paul use on this song? Anyone know? I really love the tone he got. I realize there is distortion but the guitar sound is great.

His favorite guitar is an Epiphone Casino. That may be it.

IIRC, there were some in-studio pics on the inside of the 'Ram' album cover where McCartney is playing a guitar very much like this one:

I've also seen several pics from those sessions with him using the Gibson Non Reverse Firebird too. It may have been Pelham Blue.

Jeez, I didn't remember the album having pictures inside. I could have pulled it out - in fact I will. Leave it to you guys to get the answer! Thank you all! And Peter, you had the right company, and looks to be the same pickups the 60s LPs had. Again thanks to all.
Now, if I could only PLAY one like that....
