This one becomes available on April 14-16 in auction during the weekend of MARF.

Mike, thanks for the heads up. While I can't afford most of the instruments on the site, I still love to check out the photos. It's so awesome that you can browse the years of previous auctions... what a great service. It's kind of like being able to browse in a huge antiques market.

One question: Do you know how they take those incredible straight-on shots of the guitars and basses on the site? It's almost as if they are scanned on a huge flatbed.

Heritage has a seperate room where the photography is taken. It's way too advance for me. Usually three guys working on them -- can you believe it? They shoot them in full size, back & front. The size of the photos are gigantic, which allows you to zoom in at great lengths.

Too cool, Mike. I have a folder where I have all the coolest vintage Ric photos from Heritage saved by serial #. 8) :)
