Hernia Surgery

Post by jack1953 »

Well I went under the knife for the first time in my life for hernia surgery on Tuesday. I was so dehydrated, after surgery, that they had to catheterize me, drain me, and then remove it before I could go home. All I needed was a enema to hit for the cycle! I don't know if anyone has ever experienced a catheter but I think I'd rather french kiss the hind end of a skunk than have that garden hose put up in me like that again!!
Over all, recovering slowly and have to believe, that after having this thing for 10 years, it will be worth it all when it's all healed up!
Jack

PS. They had several nurses and aids in there while they were catheterizing me and they commented that a hospital was not the place for modesty. I told them all how true that was and I said, "Now you all know that my wife definitely married me for my money!!!"

Glad to hear it all went well and you're recovering.

As for catheters, they ain't all that bad. It's when they go in via that route with a laser to break up kidney stones...

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

...which happened to me, not once, but twice...

I won't go into the gory details, though. I'm trying to forget, 6 years after the fact...

Only about a half a dozen times. It is best to have them do it when you are under.

You get over that quickly when it happens offen enough. They have seen it all and from everyone. It just dosen't matter.

None a them buggers.

Double kidney stones...one in each... I tend to dress up for these occasions.

They loved my "Guitar Hero" and "Sponge Bob" undershorts.
