CHILDRENS TV!!!

Great to see the other night on the BBC feature Childrens TV and pop music a slot on BLUE PETER which featured THE SEARCHERS. They are in the studio with CHRISTOPHER TRACE and VALERIE SINGLETON singing NEEDLES AND PINS. The programme then features an interview with FRANK and JOHN talking about childrens tv in the sixties!!!! They then play SATURDAY NIGHT OUT with the 2 presenters dancing. Unique TV footage.

For those who will not be aware of what Dave is on about this was a clip from 1964 interspersed with Frank and John talking about it, though really Frank was not on the clip.

Point taken I was not as succint as I should have been wanted to emphasise that was a clip from 64 with Frank Allen and John McNally as they are today talking about the clip
Was taken from a TV show called When The Stranglers met Roland Rat, so you wouldn't expect Searchers to be on it.
