Bought a B-22 head today from Ebay. I've been looking for 2 years. Yay!

Should be a couple of tweeters and associated crossover in that head . . .

Was this head designed to go with a 2 x 15" speaker cab?

John, I just noticed that. I saw the screws for the tweeters and wasn't sure about a crossover. Ok.......who's got an extra set of tweeters and a crossover?
What size tweeter would that be? 3.5"?

The originals were Jensen "Concert Series" 3 inch tweeters and just used a 1.0 microfarad electrolytic capacitor for the crossover. (More accurately, just to keep the bass out of the tweeter.)
If you're using this with 4 x 10's, it's probably not worth the trouble to add them. As Libratune said, this amp was originally for use with 15's, so you probably needed a tweeter in that case.

I've been looking for one of these (the piggyback or either part) for about 5 years now. Good catch, Jwilli! I missed this one on the 'Bay...
I think these amps are the nutz.

Anybody got an idea about the wattage?

If that is a pair of 6L6s, probably around 40 watts, I would think.

Yeah, two fifteens. 35-40 watts is typical. I have those tweeters around somewhere but you know how I am, I have no idea when I'll come across them.
