What year (approx.) is this 4001 case?

Hello!
I'm wondering about when this case was made. Approximate date range would be great.

...not sure whether it's an original RIC case. The blue fitted ones had some body contoured cushion.
Otherwise maybe 70ies early 80ies, despite the corroded locks and latches.

The two blue-interior cases I've had or have both had form-fitting body sections. One came new with a 1980 4001 and the one I still have came with my '73 (But I'm not sure if that case is original or not). I've never seen the De Cuir name.

it looks alot like the case that came with my '74 4001 - except my handle was stitched and the accessory cover didn't have anything printed on the tab.

The case that came with my 1974 4001 looks similar- no form fitting padding, and mine was purple. I don't recall any writing on the tab. It was kinda beat so it went with my 82 4001 when I sold it.

That looks like the cases my late 70s and early 80s 4001's have come in. Usually it has a foam piece fitted in the middle section.

I need one of those for my '76 4001 Azureglo. It's currently got one just like the 2nd blue one - the form fitted one. But it's not the original case for that one.

The second case is exactly like the one that came new with my '80 4001. The type with the foam insert in the middle section is what my '73 4001FL came in.

Re Case # 1: here's my May 1973 4001 with its original case. Not form-fitted - not so plush or as padded as Richard's; nothing printed on the little leather tag.

That's the same case that my 71 4001 is in and the original owner claims that it is original
