My new 330/6 MID (replaced my 370/12 MID)

After having a lot of trouble with the varnish of my 370/12 MID now I own a brand new 330/6 MID.
About the trouble:
As I wrote here I bought a new 370/12, the guitar of my dreams. It played perfect a dream came true.
BUT: after ten times playing the clear varnish at the neck binding started to peel off! Of course I did not use wrong stuff for cleaning and polishing. It just peeled off.
O.k., no problem, I called the dealer who sold me this guitar. He pleased me to send back the guitar.
Fortunately he had another 370/12 MID in stock and after a few weeks - he had spoken to the importer - I received another guitar. But when I opened the case I was shocked! The varnish peeled off at the same places and they made a really bad thing at the factory! At one place below the scratch plate there was no blue paint on the wood - but clear and perfect varnish without scratches dings or whatever. Somebody at the factory used a dark marker to hide this mistake. But just a dry cloth was enough to remove it. This area was 1cm x 3cm big !!!
Once again I had to call again the dealer, once again I had to send it back (and to pay for!). Unfortunately my "old" 370/12 was repaired but sold. So I could not get it back.
And I was really fed up with blue 370/12's by the way, too. Interesting: Both of them were produced at the same day. Close to the end of the time RIC used the old varnish. (that makes the typical smell of new Rickenbackers)
So I had to chose another guitar - and I wanted to. I decided to pick a guitar that got the same, nice colour but a different look and shape. In the end I took a 330/6 MID - the opposite of the 300 series range. Because the 330 is much cheaper I ordered toaster pickups and a few other things.
And now we talk about fun:
Since a few weeks I am back in a band. And I sold my old amp (Music Man 110 RD fifty) to buy a VOX AC 30VR. Exactly the money I get for the old amp was the price of the new VOX! Lucky!
Now I play my 330/6 VP together with the AC 30VR. Oh lord, what a sound! The 330 now is my "working guitar" in the band. Great playability and both, the amp and the 330 fit perfect! I just can recommend the AC 30VR as a cheap but real good amp with a lot of different possibilities to play old school and modern sound as well.
I am so happy how the things went! And there is this little line from the Stones: "You can't always get what You want. - But if You try sometimes You get what You need." Right, Mr. Jagger!
