My 1st Gigs w/ Crack The Sky

Hello all,
I've just recently joined a band that some of you may remember from the 70's-80's -
Crack The Sky. I was a huge fan of theirs as a kid and I'm totally stoked to now have the gig.
My 1st shows with them will be:
Friday, April 22 @ Club 66 - Edgewood, MD
Saturday, April 23 @ Ram's Head Live - Baltimore, MD.
The Club 66 show is a "warm up" show at a small intimate venue whereas the following night's show is at a much larger venue which typically hosts national acts.
I'll be playing my DCM 4003 as well as an Alembic Scorpion and a Tbird at these shows.
FYI - original CTS bassist Joe Macre was a 4001 player so I'm happy to be bringing a Ric back to the band's sound after all these years.
Anyone in the MD area wishing to attend the Ram's Head show can purchase tickets here:

Congrats on becoming a member of the band Dave.
Wikipedia seems to be a bit out of date though.

Thanks, all.
Yes the Wiki page is in need of an update. Even the official CTS website is out of date. Apparently the admin is a former member and they're trying to get him to relinquish control of the site back to the band. Ahhh, the music biz!

The official band website does indeed need updating. I could not find much after 2008.
Btw excuse my manners, welcome to the forum Dave.

I am glad that you are a Rickenbacker enthusiast. We have a number of professional musicians that post here.

Hi Dave,
My name is Greg.....I'm a LONGTIME fan of Crack The Sky!!!!! I have quite a few of their albums---yes, vinyl.
I have tix to see you guys in July at Sellersville Pa. Front Row.
I am very much looking forward to this show, as my friend and I have been waiting for and hoping you'd come around.
I'll look for you there!!!!!!
BTW: Animal Notes is my favorite CTS album, and I always thought that was a Rickenbacker 4001 I was hearing on it!!!!!!

Hi Dave, Congrats on the position. Also being from B-more, I'm a fan of
Crack The Sky.
Been to the Club 66. I love it there (Kinda like a "Roadhouse" without the chickenwire!)

Sorry I just saw this thread today....
Talk to you later,
John in Parkville

Hi John,
Always good to meet a local Ric-ster! Will you be attending either of the CTS shows this weekend?
