My only recording session with Rick (so far)

My recording career is very short and modest. I didn´t have my Rick back then so it was never recorded. Luckily we recorded some training sessions with Rick so I took a sample from one of those recordings. I´m sorry for the low sound quality, it´s just a rehearsal recording made for band´s internal use.

Mikko, I'd say you have THE sound there - great tone.

Thanks. The secret behind the sound is...not surprisingly, Rickenbacker 4003! Soundchain: DR Low Riders -> Std hi-gains (both in use,"vintage tone" engaged) -> DOD FX82 compressor -> and finally small Ampeg BA-112 practise amp.

do you have a site with other tunes on it? Or are you waiting to get some stuff Ric-recorded?

I´ve been playing with various bands during the last two decades. There are recordings available, but unfortunately there is no Rick content in them. I always wanted to play and record with Rick but never was able to do that back in those days (1990´s), because I bought my first Rick just recently (2009). I can´t say when I will record some original tunes with my Rick. Hopefully someday.
This is probably a mistake from my side to post these, but here are some recordings from the past. Mostly rehearsal tapes. Sadly, no Ricks were involved.

Other guitarist and drummer were absent from band practise but we had keyboard player instead. We decided to fool around with new arrangements of our old songs. Alternate version of “Olliver Hawk” is here http://soundcloud.com/transuranicheavyelements. Again, this is just rehearsal recording so I´m sorry about the low quality etc.
And now, the more interesting part of this message….This time I had Rickenbacker 4003 with Fender 9050CL flats. Bridge hi-gain in use, both volume and tone at 10 -> Ibanez BS-10 overdrive pedal -> DOD FX-82 compressor -> Yamaha Fifty-115B bass combo.
