"Blue Period", featuring a Rickenbacker acoustic and a Rick bass. Not sure what the model of the acoustic is, or even if it was really used in the recording. Either way, pretty neat since I don't see Rick acoustics in action very often! There's also a thread over in the Groove Yard regarding their new album -- recorded at Mitch Easter's studio!

That's John Hall's '50s-era Model 390 in that video.

Cool guitar. I saw the German carve and wondered what it was. Thanks for the info, Kenny. What's the story behind how it ended up in the video?

The new album is really great. I've been listening to it on my commute every day for the past week. Highly recommended! I wish they had a tour date in my area. I missed them a few years ago when they played in Santa Cruz. Doh!
