Hey all!

My wife is doing her 2nd pinup photo session on Saturday. For this one, she wants to include one of my Ricks! I'm having an awfully hard time deciding, so I would like your input. Please include reasons for your vote in your reply.

So, I ask you, should she be photographed with the 4003 or the 4001C64?

Edit: Don't worry; I will post a photo once they have been taken so that you may all drool over a hot girl with your favorite brand of instrument.

Why choose? Maybe both Ricks could be included in the photos.
I'd give Kristin some of mine to pose with also. Surround her with them!

I'm going with the 4003. The FG with FWIs will provide more visual goodies to the shot than the 4001 dot-neck IMO.

If only one, then go with the 4003.

I personally think we need just a bit more information here than just the two basses. I mean, how can we make an informed decision as to which which might look best when all we have to go on are the decorations?

What will likely happen is this:

The shoot includes two outfits, one of which will include my bass or basses. We end up with the best 6 pictures from the first outfit, and the best 6 from the second outfit. We'll get two versions of each photo: regular color and desaturated, for a total of 24 pictures.

So...there will be opportunity to get pictures with one, the other, or both instruments.

Wrong kind of info, I think.
