It seems that the scratch plates are (non-standard) black, whereas the TRC is standard (as the rest of the hardware is chrome). Not nice. Then again I'm not a fan of any black hardware on Rick's.

However, ugly black or not, it's good to see a Ric up front like that, used by a young newcomer, not someone from some old 80s band!
