Although the name did sound familiar, I needed to read the bio ... what a great talent, in so many areas ... RIP.

Now he's out there somewhere in space and time too.
No more spooky scary skeletons either.

Andrew passed away in his sleep June 4, 2011. He was only 59!
A hugely talented and under-appreciated songwriter, singer, and musician. In addition to his solo hit, "Oh What a Lonely Boy", he contributed on several Linda Ronstadt hits and toured with her for many years. His chorused riff leading into the solo on Linda's "You're No Good" defines the word "hook".
He was also in the "supergroup" Bryndle along with Ronstadt band alumnus; the late Kenny Edwards and singer-songwriters Karla Bonhoff and Wendy Waldman.
RIP Brother!

I just heard OWALB again after years recently on XM and came to the appreciation of this syncopated gem and the musical genius behind it. I'd liked it back in the 70s but never really appreciated it. RIP Andrew.

Why do the best go so early? Just out of the middle of life, very sad. Just pulled out his 1975 Asylum album, great stuff. He is on his "Endless Flight" right now , so let's hang his picture straight in our memories. RIP
