I was just watching "7 Ages Of Rock" on VH1 Classic, and in the "British Indie" chapter there's the bassist for Stone Roses with a 4005    cosmetically modified with some kind of ecstasy induced paint job, but a 4005 none the less!!!

I've been accused of writing original music that is "Stone Roses sounding," and to me that is high praise! I can never get too much S.R., if only there was more actual music...

The Stone Roses were one of the most underrated bands to emerge from the 1980's indie scene. It's great to see they're finally getting some recognition.

The irony of the Stone Roses, and the first album; what a "chime machine" the songs traveled, yet no Rickenbacker guitars, just Gretsches and maybe a Gibson?
What a sound, and great production they had. Ian Brown's live vocals, well...youtube it. He needed a lot of help, even with that young set of vocal cords, he needed help. Regardless, I love the Roses!
