WOWIE!!! Just watched part 2.... Amazing to see that gorgeous work of art unfold! On a 12-string Comstock, no less. 8)

Finally got a chance to play one last weekend at the Milwaukee confluence, and now I've really got a hankering for a 12-string Comstock....

Alot of people say that you make it look easy, but I think you make it look impressive. The way you taper the shades of color on the corners, headstock, and so-forth makes it all very personal. It makes me wonder about the guy who painted the burst on my guitar in 1980. I wonder where that guy is now or what he did after? The style and technique is all very representive of the person who painted it, and I feel like he put a little piece of himself into the guitar.

That was really amazing. I just watched both episodes straight through and left me still wanting more :) What a beautiful guitar...an artist at work!

Excellent videos Paul. I've always wondered how you turn out all of those wonderful works of art.

Video#5--Clearcoating--is up.

After I finish building this guitar, I'll be doing a couple of vids on paint mixing and chemistry, and then there's lots of other topics to cover...stay tuned, as they say.

If a picture is worth a thousand words....................then a video is worth a thousand books. What a great series Paul. Congrats on a great idea and a job well done my friend.

This series of videos is fantastic! And I have a feeling it's only going to get better!

Oh, and the laugh track at the end of the last one was... uh... great...
