yes, boyz and gurlz ! my buddy andrew has had yet another axe destroyed by the imfamous mate of his. how, again, you ask ? well he forgot to bring the bass back to my "fortress of solitude" for safe keeping, and she got her claws into it after a personal meltdown ! first it was the fireglo fakenbacker...this time it was the gibsonbacker ! will have the pics re-sized.

And they're still together? Wow, that's devotion for ya...

I have never understood the "War of the Roses" mentality. You have to kick a psycho to the curb as soon and as painlessly to all parties as possible. Then again, if I were on the jury, I would probably vote for his acquittal.

There is a Chap on the "Everything SG" forum (his handle is "Brucewayne131") and he is to SGs what Paul W is to Rickenbackers. I've seen him get some dire messes and make them like new (or aged if you want)
The forum even has a running "Mauled SG" thread to look out for this stuff.
He is the guy for this job.....

No matter how much my wife ever starts hating me (knock on wood, she won't, four years into this marriage and it's been lovely) I doubt she'll touch the Rics with a ten foot pole... sometimes she threatens violence, though, when I talk about buying a new bass that isn't a Ric...

That was a lovely example of a modded Gibson bass... I hope his partner realizes that she has not only hurt him but has removed a perfectly good instrument from this world! That's almost as bad as taking a life to some of us.
