High school project or G-plan retro chic? Either way, the bass, or the guy who modded it are on drugs :-)
Love that control spacing and the oversize belly cut. Shame really, as the bass has full width inlays and checker binding, single truss rod is the immediate giveaway though. Ah well, at least its not a real 4001 thats been butchered.

Sorry guys but thats actually not that bad. LOL the wooden pickguard is *****, but the cutaway looks well done and the pickguard shape is ok, much like a 3000.

Ha, the guy was only paying tribute to the "Forrest White Prototype, Music Man Headstock Origin" that was wisely and righteously rejected by the great F.C. Hall. Glad he refused the ******* child!

That Ibanez on eBay is probably one of the ugliest basses I've ever seen...

There are dozens of much better (and better looking) basses one can get anywhere for a lower price.
