I believe it's not original and created by a well-known french luthier who is currently working in London.

Small point here and totally off topic, but Noel appears to be playing a Gibson Trini Lopez standard (vs. custom) model.
What's up with that? Did he catch Dave Grohol fever? This is an older vid so perhaps it was a passing fancy.

Or a Crockenbacker.
Not inconceivable that it's a real body though---Weller had a real one, and Oasis had grips of cash...

No sound hole, in addition to the aforementioned 5 control layout and hi gains. Not the real deal AFIK.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that some unfinished F models where completed and released in the 70's or 80's? Could it be one of those?
It sounds too good to be a fake.

Thats a beautifully made guitar.
IIRC, he had the neck cloned from one of his Gibsons.
Oh,and It doesn't say Rickenbacker on the name plate.
