What color do I choose?

I am beginning a new project,
I'm going to change a 4003 from 4 to 5 strings.
Most likely I'll change the color of the bass, it has many scratches and dents caused by long live time, and now it's Jetglo/white trim.
I want to put tuners on the measurement of the 4003s5 head, then close the holes left by the old tuners and making new ones.
So I think the best is a solid color....

What color do you recommend?

I'm gonna say JETGLO, of course!! 8)
Sea Green or Turquoise would be nice also.

SO many colors look good on a Ric. As far as solids, I like white, azure, and turquoise.

JETGLO; why mess with classic perfection? :)

Sea Green and Turquoise are also very cool, but unless you're stage attire is always black, JETGLO is your best choice; it goes with most every color. :D 8)

Matte black with a shiny black guard and binding, and black hardware.

Only between my ears, on the inside of my eyelids. But, it's great looking, believe me.

My brother had an Epiphone, firebird-style mandolin that was matte black with a little bit of texture and it was really cool looking. Kind of a piece of junk as an instrument because the factory set-up from China was horrible, but the finish was very nice. The guy in Nashville who custom builds his mandos these days has been mixing either gloss or satin black tops with what we would consider Autumn Glow sides and backs and they're really elegant. If I had an old 4001/4003 to refin and it was a nice hunk of wood, it would be really tempting to try something like this.
