I hope the Rickenbacker gods don't get angry with me but I had this question asked of me and thought I would
find out here......has anyone put toasters in a 330/360 DCM ??? If so.....what do you think. I'm not about to do
it but as I said, someone asked me about it.

My bet is that it sounds like any normal 330/360 with toasters in it.

Has anyone ever suggested that the anniversary DCMs with hi-gains sound different from regular 330s/360s with hi-gains? (Not trying to be sarcastic here -- for all I know maybe they do sound different).

If you like the toaster sound, I say go for it. IMO, the six strings don't sound as good with Scatterwound toasters as they do with the older "hot" toasters, or hi gains though.

I think it would look and probably sound great Craig. I would prefer a DCM 330 with white plastic too...save the gold limited stuff from getting scratched.

+1!
DCM 330/6 with toasters, white plastic and a trapeze. Now you're talking.

Nice! How about back painted white plastic. Hmmm.

It's got to be a vintage style headstock though.

I should have known to clarify things with this group

......I'm pretty well aware that a 330/360 DCM with toasters is going to
sound like a regular 330/360 with toasters......sheesh......I was wondering if anyone had made that swap and if so, how they liked
it.
