Greco F-140 Acoustic

This is a Greco F-140 Acoustic Guitar made in Japan probably in the '70's or '80's. I picked it up cheap because the finish on the back and sides has cracks in the varnish and the bridge was lifting off. I repaired the bridge (first time ever attempted!) and you can see the burn mark and slight browning that occurred from the heat gun. Unbeknownst to me, the top was splintering in a few places so the bridge wouldn't come up with the heat, I got a little over-zealous, and it started smoking at the edge of the varnish that meets the bridge. I thought it was the rubber insulation I had surrounding the bridge. I stopped immediately, but it was too late. But it seems the heat flattened out the top in that area. I see no damage or detachment of the bracing. It had one bolt holding the bridge down (I did take it out before trying to remove the bridge! 
), but I added two more on the outsides of the string pins to ensure it stays down due to the splintering underneath. She cleaned up OK, and even though she's not all that pretty, she plays and sounds pretty good. 
The neck is pretty flat with slight release, but the truss rod is max'ed out. I filed down the bridge a little and may go a hair more as I'd like the action a little lower up the neck (It's comparable to most other's I've played, I just like it lower).
