Cool! Unusual instrumentation on that one--a Fender Jazz Bass AND a Bass VI--and it was really unusual to see a surf guitar player with a Tele.

Very nice grindy bass tone starting at 0:52.

. It is amazing how great those guitars sound with no amps in sight!
