What camera did you get? It looks like it may have been made with a Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS.

Did you see the EXIF data??
I also have a Canon SLR but it isn't quite as compact. And lets face it, camera phones are okay in a pinch but they still leave something to be desired. I am taking this new little camera out into the world tomorrow and put it through the paces.

EXIF data/Metadata? Never heard of it! 
I have a Canon 30D with three L series zoom lenses, pretty compact by normal standards (4x5 to 8x10 view camera), but I have been casually looking for a smaller, integrated camera that can produce excellent image files.; I keep looking at the Micro Four Thirds type of cameras.
