Re: Carol Kaye: Session Legend
Yours truly, introducing a group of SoCal high-schoolers performing "Good Vibrations" with Carol Kaye on bass. I'm conducting the musicians and I shake Carol's hand at the end - and she signed my Pet Sounds LP that night.
Forgive the lead singer, he had a frog in his throat and gooses the first couple of notes.

Re: Carol Kaye: Session Legend
This is so very interesting to see. During the years of the Beach Boy hits, most fans had little knowledge of the significant role of studio musicians such as Carol Kaye in the music. Also, these vocals are not easy to sing. Thanks Kenny you have really given us something to talk about.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
