Jetglo 4001. . . 1.5 hit wonders; they wrote one hit, and covered "Eve of Destruction," which was a hit for them as well.

I'd forgotten all about this number as well. Heard it on the jukebox yesterday at the appropriately named "New Wave Restaurant and Bar" in Bellflower, CA, where former KROQ DJ Richard Blade was to later make an appearance, and thought the song would be a good cover to add to the set list for one of the bands I play in. Looked up the chord chart and lyrics, along with the video, and discovered the bassist played a JG 4001. :D Hooky number, and an easy one to learn and play. Played along with the song a couple of times; easy money to learn! :)

Wow, blast from the past there. Major 80's flashback. Thanks for posting, Paulie.

I used to be in a band that was on an indie label in Boston called Monolyth and one of the partners was Darren Hill, the bass player for Red Rockers. He was periphally involved with the Mighty Mighty Bosstones as well and managed a killer psych-billy band called the Amazing Royal Crowns. Super nice guy.
