http://www.rhino.com/shop/product/ride- ... ry-editionIf you want to hear some screaming 90s Rickenbackers, I highly recommend this highlight of the shoegazing years. I had the good fortune to see these guys live (with the LA's, I believe) and teh bonus live disc in this reissue is a fabulous reminder of what a glorious din they produced.

Re: Ride Nowhere
Haven't heard Ride in a long time. As far as shoegazing I used to love Lush.

Oh yeah, you just can't beat Miki Berenyi with a Rickenbacker- right up there with Susanna Hoffs for cute babes with a Rick AND has a British accent!

Re: Ride Nowhere
Love Ride and Lush. Smile was cool if a bit rough around the production edges. Nowhere was a great album--huge wall of sound. Going Blank Again had the production (and keyboards) but lost some of the early magic, IMO. Still a solid effort with a few standout tracks. I miss the 90s...
If it is to be, it is up to me.
Re: Ride Nowhere
I LOVE Ride Nowhere. Maybe my favorite album of all time. I'm really proud of myself for picking up on it right when it came out, especially since I was living in Spokane, WA which at the time was no haven for discovering cool music. I later tried to convince myself that My Bloody Valentine Loveless was better because I was trying to be cool, but looking back I have no doubt that Nowhere is the better album.
