Despite never being a space head himself Lemmy's bass on the early hawkwind stuff has always blown me away.
Alan Davey is a Ricky bass player in later hawkind stuff and a confessed Lemmy nutter he for years gave Hawkwind a great bottom end, sort of taking Lemmy's Hawkwind style further.
