Identifying a Silver Maker Mark

Post by marc61 »

Just curious because I know we have so many collectors who contribute to these boards. Anyone here know anything about silver? I'm trying to figure out the maker and year on a teapot.

Any info/insight appreciated

You might try sending a PM to Mike Gutierrez. mgauction

Until someone knowledgeable chimes in, you might take a look at this website:

There is also a forum for this subject, with an interface similar to the one here.

Seems like it might be Jensen/LaPaglia mark, and I do believe it is American. As to the question, what's it worth? Well it weighs just over a lb, which converts into 13 oz and change of pure silver. That's assuming it has no collectible value. Well, it's almost team time here :)
