Does anyone here have any footage of U2's The Edge playing his Ricks? I seem to recall from the U2 3D movie that he had a whole bunch, including a Fireglo 330/12.

Not really. My browser will not cooperate and keeps freezing up and/or giving me error messages when I try to access YouTube. Help!

I have a similar problem, Robert. I can play YT videos, but have to dumb them down to 240. Anything higher res than that and there are periodic freezeups while the next section loads. It's probably a simple setting that I need to make. I'm just not sure what to change. I'm running DSL on a Windows 7 - I7 equipped PC, but it's acting like the old dial-up. Any coneheads out there? Tom

Thanks, Tom. It's consoling to know that someone out there is having the same troubles with You Tube.

I would recommend to all those interested to watch the U2 3D movie or just about any live U2 DVD. The Edge is famous for running through his whole gamut of guitars onstage (probably thirty-some in all), several of them beautiful Rics. There should be a treasure trove of live footage on YouTube, but I'll have to wait until my browser's behaving to post any of it.

Thanks for the link, Rob. My browser is up and running. Looks like Edge is playing a Fireglo 330/6, if I'm correct.

Sure sounds like a 12'er there, and I know he has a 60's 330/12. Can't get a good look at the headstock but I would imagine it's a 12.

I noticed the same thing, but couldn't get a clear view of the headstock. I didn't know he owned a 60's 330/12, so I stand corrected.

That 330/12 through the delay pedal has a really hypnotic effect. I'll have to search You Tube for more footage of Edge with his Rics.

I think he plays one a few times during the Zoo TV Sydney DVD, try that.

There is a scene with one in It Might Get Loud, during which he explains his Mysterious Ways riff.
