I wonder what led to that. Cool! Maybe the JG model's getting some work done. . . or she just wants a change. Cool guitar. I'd like a 3 pickup model with a five way switch; would be cool.

More videos from that show revealed she used the JG, too. The white, I believe, is a spare.
A five-way switch seems appropriate for a 3-pickup guitar, despite the fact you can't blend all three pickups together, but maybe there's a reason it hasn't been done that way.

Cool! I wonder whether the guitar was tuned differently ... I'm not familiar enough with the Bangles material to know whether they used alternate tunings.

Ah, but remember, Jake, that the 370/12RM has individual volume controls for all three pick-ups, plus a master volume control. IMO, that beats a five-way switch.

They mostly use(d) capos, or Susanna, at least. "Goin' Down to Liverpool", which is in F#, Susanna played with a capo at 2nd fret, while Vicki played barre chords the whole way. If they've done different tunings, it's not apparent and they certainly haven't played any of those songs live, to my knowledge.

Oh yeah! Just sit with the toggle in the middle and the options are unlimited. That's why I'm constantly telling you that it's the most versatile 12-string guitar out there.

As to why the two guitars, different pickups, different sounds. My guess.

The pickups are the same in both, but the heights are adjusted a bit differently. Functionally, there's no other difference between the two. The black one is still on active duty. The white one came back when a third (standard) 350 was retired, and she's liking the vibe of the white one, now.
Each has standard Strat-style switching, with one pot wired as a master volume. The other pots are not wired. Most of the time, she uses the middle pickup only.
No alternate tunings, for either Susanna or Vicki. Just a capo, here and there.
